NNN is a REIT that I've held a long time...along with O. I'm currently down 21% on the position so I'm guessing I just got into it at the wrong time. Looks like I've held it since late 2014. Counting distributions I'm slightly ahead but it just seems to lag behind all the time. Perhaps moving into a lowering rate environment may make a difference in its performance. I've been torn about selling it in the past but chose to add to the position instead of selling it. One reason I've held is that it's in an IRA so I get no Tax Loss from selling it. The dividend has been pretty safe....so I've just kept it for the income. I guess I'll keep holding my nose and keep collecting the income.

If I do decide to sell it, I could see myself putting the proceeds into IYRI and get an instant yield boost, but maybe not as safe. Good thing this fence I'm sitting on can support my weight.
