With all this new AI stuff on youtube, saying untrue things and representing them as being said by people like Rachael Maddow, George Will, etc, I see a huge danger we need to mitigate.
We already have a problem with our low information folks getting fooled so easily by Trump that our democracy and nation are in peril, but now the chicanery is getting so sophisticated, average people can be tricked, and as ron pointed out, people all over the world watch that stuff and can be easily fooled.
Trump has turned the entire world against us and isolated us. The damage he has done will take a long time to heal because even if the Dems take over in 2026 and 2028, the world knows that another Trump is just one election away.
I expect Trump is going to drive us into a serious state of stagflation, at best, and more and more people will suffer, and at worst I hate to think! |
