I don't know the future, other than the extent to which these things have panned out in the past. Musk is hitting on all cylinders (so to speak) right now. I wouldn't bet against him. The alleged "delays" are about testing and bullet-proofing. The software is clearly excellent. The cars, being purpose-built don't seem likely to cause trouble.

I guess we'll see in a few months what the reviews look like.
