The idea that people don’t need to “save money” and that charity won’t be needed shows Musk is completely disconnected from reality.
While not everyone can envision it, the concept isn’t disconnected from any reality.

Certainly, it can be said that large chunks of of the world now live far better lives than they did fifty and 100 and 200 years ago. There is no reason at the birth of extreme automation we would see a reversal of the trend.

And that the trend wouldn’t continue to accelerate.
