For the sake of some misguided ideology you seem to love to want to punish trading partners - even though it is the American people who are hurt by paying the price. Canada is realigning its exports rather than pay penalizing tariffs. Electricity, timber products, fertilizers and other natural resources will be redirected to new markets. soooooooo, Americans get to pay higher prices - and farmers end up needing a bailout.

Markets - capitalism has no morality. It just changes and adjust as situations demand. Yes, I'm whining as our national debt continues to skyrocket upward - and my prices continue up. There are no winners here for the American people - only losers.
