Jake,

I had some fun with you when I was writing my earlier response...but after I had moved on I was still thinking about what you had written, and I realized that your comment that "Don't get it, or maybe I do???" implied that I somehow had something to do with the decline in TASA's price.

To (hopefully) absolutely clarify this issue - for some time now I have possessed what I believe to be "inside information". Now, it is perfectly legal for me to have such information, but it is illegal for me to trade on the basis of it. Likewise, if I were to publish the information, and if you were to trade on the information that I published, I would also be liable under Section 20A of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

I have laid all of this out in a longer "Feature Article", which includes the specific legal citations, and will publish it later today on The Napeague Letter's web site at napeague.com .

The SEC is constantly alert for signs of "insider trading" and they enforce the regulations prohibiting it very "vigorously". Because the SEC monitors The Napeague Letter's web site (the SEC has visited my site 30 times since September 1997... without adverse comment so far), and since they can quickly get access to my trading records, they are easily able to enforce my compliance with "20A". So I don't violate "20A".....EVER....either by trading or by publishing what is clearly non-public "inside information".

If you have any other questions about my actions, please feel free to ask them directly and publicly.
