Saw a video commercial, which tries to link obesity with microplastic particles, few days ago.
As biochemical reactions in human body take place in a colloid phase cytoplasm, anything that potentially disturb the physiological physical and colloid chemistry of cytoplasm would pose harm to health. Healthy physiology is such a delicate integration of many dynamic systems in life activities.
Water metabolism carries the most basic role in maintaining a healthy condition of cytoplasmic colloid phase. Chemicals especially those persistent, and deviation from healthy body temperature, frequent cold drinks and heat, would all disturb desirable physiology. One (kind of) change in secondary categories would not be the ideal way to look for causes for bad health, just like carbon dioxide for global warming.
Just my two cents. |
