We've heard a lot of mixed reviews from friends and acquaintances on Marty Supreme - so we'll
wait as usual, for it to be available on streaming, then decide. Frenetic and loud is not our favorite...

However, we are enjoying The Bear. Our grandson who is thinking about being a Chef, recommended it.
Again, the first episode was unnecessarily frenetic and loud, but it settles into watchable and
interesting as the characters and backstory develop.
We often use both Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic before we consider anything, and sometimes
ignore them anyway :)

I've been reading the entire British-spy fiasco series by Mick Herron, the Slow House books and mysteries.
They are quite wide-ranging and variable. But I find his writing enjoyable.
