I doubt it, Violetta! .).. It's still well within their claim bounds, it appears. In looking at the AGS drift map, it doesn't quite jive with what's shown (in terms of overburden). It looks as though 30km east would take them into till depths up to 150m plus (at least 90m).

There's a couple explanations for this, the most obvious being that the drift map was created with a lot of grey area extrapolated in, and is limited in its accuracy (of course). The next most obvious is I just don't have enuf info!

Today's news is more proof of the significance of this discovery. I'm sure a few more skeptics are lining up to cross over onto the believer's side (esp. once we hear of these pipes being diamondiferous!).
