How could this possibly not have been anticipated as actual competition showed up over the last two years?

Did Lambert actually believe that Tesla wouldn't give up some market share to BYD (which is selling at bargain-basement pricing)?

This is just him bashing Tesla because he apparently jumped ship a year ago lol.
