Some thoughts for a business proposition involving Apple to facilitate adoption of OLED in IT world...

Apple has been successful in marketing its hardware in schools. It can continue its good deed by developing lower-tier machines that don't need 16 cores but integrated with OLED display to help preserve the eyeballs of children using its products (for years to come). This can be considered as a socially-responsible thing to do for a corporation making hundred's of billions of dollars.

The displays can serve as 'beta' towards evolving products toward perfection. Data from usage can be collected such that one day Apple can market a 'real' Apple TV that is much more elegant than the current simple set-top box that looks just slightly better than a ROKU. I'm happy with my LG OLED TV but if I can integrate my user experience across phone/TV/computer/tablet/iCloud seamlessly within one eco-system, I would.

Apple does hire graduates from Dr. Forrest's school of OLED engineering, and I think it wouldn't hurt for team UDC to consider how UDC can directly contribute to Apple other than providing trained students which hopefully in time and in turn will help grow the corporation through partnership with an industry behemoth. If Apple were to make a significant invest in UVJP today, I'd willing to wager a $1 bet that in 2 years there will be plenty of Apple TVs for consumers with die-hard investors cheering over clips of the famous hamster dance...
