I talked with Sheldon Jacobs today about a variety of issues the highlights of which are: 1)Ralph Gaurino (the new COO)thinks Shelly's Backrooms are highly franchisable and has numerous contacts from Boston Market and Blockbuster days that are looking for fresh franchises 2)There are enough in the coffers for 5 new Backrooms in '97 and to begin construction on a few others before a second offering is made when the share price is over $10 3)Two Backrooms will be going into Grand Casinos as a beginning (with several other casinos including the Mirage showing interest in acquiring a Backroom) 4)Contruction in D.C. is pending only the completion of the necessary beaurocratic permits. 5)Towards the end of the year Shelly and company are going on tour to promote WRSI with fund managers,etc. 6)Shelly does think his proprietary fresh air airconditioning system will be effective enough to permit Shelly's Backrooms in airports,etc.However there are no such deals at the current time. I think this stock has a ton of room to grow.Sheldon Jacobs is one of the premier experts in cigars in the country and perhaps the world.Gaurino has the experience in franchising.And the timing is right.Does anybody else hold this stock?
