This is why my head starts to hurt thinking about Zen.

As long as Zen’s label matches Class 1 and the filters get a “buy” recommendation from the FSCC for performing as advertised, the government procurement market will open to us and sales can start.

From what I understand, even if Health Canada determines the filters qualify as Class 2—which I hope they do—we can still sell as Class 1 until we secure an MDL. It really comes down to the label.

So you’re absolutely right, ZTEK—the golden ticket is Health Canada finding definitive proof the filters belong in Class 2. If that happens, isn’t that essentially approval as a Class 2 device? I’d think so...

So it comes back to a two-stage approach, which I think is ideal: sell to the government as Class 1 right away without losing time or revenue, then go through the process of acquiring the MDL to make the label claims we deserve. Boom—opportunities everywhere.

I’m not confident that my thinking is spot on, but since the FSCC is currently buying as a Class 1 device, this is the scenario that makes the most sense to me.

My head hurts again... Lol.
