Amazing. We have been communicating about Stoss dosing for almost a decade. MMM, now, at least acknowledges it exists, but continues to treat it like its some kind of Juju therapy. Not that they mention a dosage level, and then advise that you get your calcium levels checked regularly for months after!
Many of the veteran D3 docs on Youtube mention anywhere from 50K-75K iu for a Stoss doss. Some go as high as >100K. Most also mention that a stoss dose is taken to augment regular D3 supplementation. I take perhaps 50K IU per week and have for years.
I've taken D3 stoss doses upwards of 75K, (in the 'John Campbell method'...that's what I do and not what I would tell anyone else to do.) I almost always take my D3 with Mg, K2, and Iodine and large regular doses of C as well. But thats just how I do it, no recommendation there. Might also want to stay warm and get a few extra hours of sleep a night if you are feeling a bit unwell.
The point is that this kind of dosing is not uncommon, has been recommended by people who have not grown horns on their heads, and continued to live lives as normal. Many are well known doctors.
My method of 'fear of overdose' is to understand what that means, and to regularly go cold-turkey for a couple of days when I am feeling well. Being aware of my body and its feelings is key. I take BP, BS, HR every morning, and I chart it. I can see trends, and adjust my routines, or be aware of how extra sugar or less exercise can throw a wrench in the routines. Do this and you will likely reduce or not have a need for these really chitty drugs that people are paying a lot for. And how chopping sugar and processed foods can quickly make you healthier. |
