>>could you please post a URL that leads to mutual fund info at Datek. I am not a member, I'm just trying to get some info from them.

I don't think you can get to the research screens without a valid login, but I don't know that for a fact. Put in an account application to get an ID. If you don't/can't/won't put in an application, quote.yahoo.com has some decent research tools. Thomson's Investor Network (www.thomsoninvest.net) is the one Datek uses internally and it's pretty good. Money Magazine had a pretty interesting (but worthless)comparison of various mutual funds in the last issue. I think I saw the results published at their site (www.money.com ???).

There are literally hundreds of places to find out info on MFs. Check with your favorite search engine. The fund families themselves usually have up-to-date information at their sites (www.fidelity.com, www.janus.com, blah, blah, blah). If you have an honest broker (quit laughing!), they usually have some pretty good info on funds. Avoid broker-sold in-house funds like the plague. The purpose of those funds is to make the broker money.

There's a guy over on the flame thread that'll be happy to sell you some funds. Just look for Druss of Druss' Boiler Room Brokerage fame. He'll do things with your money that will just amaze you.
