Be honest, Bill. Do you really want that Venezuelan oil, or would you be happy with the mere kidnapping of Maduro? If it's the latter, then fine. At least you are aware of how insane it is to try and turn Venezuela into a puppet state. If it's the former, then you might want to GAF about the political stability of Venezuela.
