Right wing - left wing both sides have risks.

Right wingers tend to grab stuff, look for kick backs, but some lean towards a level field and cut red tape. In worse cases they wait till something gets built and steal it.
Left wingers do much the same thing, and use " its for the people" argument while seizing resources which quite often then get run to ruin.
There is a middle ground where you do not eph up the environment, support locals, pay taxes, employ people while extracting resources and come away with a profit. That should be the model .....
