We already have our military in Greenland,
The point here is to prevent Russia or China being handed a nice spot on Greenland from which the Untied States is sitting duck. The United States position is untenable and it almost seems as though the only people who are aware of it is Trump and his supporters.

How much Chinese cash would it take to flip Greenland? Particularly, if China is strengthened by its current financial growth while the US continues to be weakened by Democrat's wild spending?

None of knows the future, and Trump seems to be the only one with the good sense to recognize it is a threat.
