Did it ever occur to you that those federal workers were doing jobs our society needs? Are you so naive you think societies don't need a government e.g. planning departments, fire and police. Every city in the country has a planning deprtment, so maybe they are important. Do you think 330 million people can live without government organizing it? Are you that low informaiton? Do you not understand how roads are built, schools ae available, and water is kept safe, and garbage and electricity is available? Government!
