Hebrew and Palestinian dialects of ancient canaanite language
Hebrew and Palestinian dialects are indeed part of the ancient Canaanite language. Hebrew, a Canaanite dialect, was used by the people of ancient Israel and is the primary language of the Hebrew Bible. These languages were spoken in ancient times in Palestine, on the coast of Syria, and in scattered colonies elsewhere around the Mediterranean. The Canaanite languages were attested from roughly 1360 BCE to 400 CE, with Proto-Canaanite dating no earlier than 1550 BCE.
