Just got off the phone with a tech support person at SBYT. He said that MOO2 will most probably come out in November, but MTG will definitely be pushed back to 1st quarter '97. He said that they are having a lot of problems with it and rather than ship a defective product, they wanted to get it right. This is REALLY disappointing as I was counting on MTG shipping this year. I'm neither long or short SBYT, but I would think twice before stepping into this mess right now. On the plus side shorts can't benefit that much right now.(You can't short a stock below 5) On the other hand without these titles shipping on time how long can they stay solvent? At the rate they're going Akklaim will release their Magic game before SBYT, and that will be a big blow. MTG, MOO2, XCOM3, MOM2 and Agents of Justice are all titles that I'm looking forward to, however I can only wait so long before I decide to spend money on some other titles. Remember IF MTG ships by 1st quarter '97 it will be TWO years late. Heaven help all SBYT investors if MOO2 doesn't release this year. Later.
