Since you seem to have some impairment processing information, I'll try to clarify.

Obviously, "they" are the ones who fled. The ICE agents involved. A rational person should have been able to extract that information since it had been stated before.

The second "they" has to do with some of your past defenses of malefactors like Trump. There was a clear transition in my narrative, but you seem to be having difficulty processing information on this subject. Maybe you should diagram the sentences.

One of us doesn't seem to grasp the situation. From the evidence, it isn't me.
