Hi EL,

Happy new Year.

I'm of the thought that exploration and and pipelines will be the focus of the initial build.

It is said that light oil must be mixed in Venezuela's crude just to get it thru a pipe.

I'm thinking that taking the mixed crude to the Gulf for refining. In the Houston ship channel expanded refineries have come on stream within the last year.

I have shares in XOM and they have recently added to their Houston refinery to the tune of 250,000 gallons a day. Saudi's and XOM also have a refinery in Port Arthur that is undergoing an expansion.

Import crude, return finished product along the mixer for more crude exports from Venezuela.

Capex on the Venezuela side will be modern drilling and pipelines for exporting.

This also keeps the money finger in the control of the U.S.

By Trump's last year in office, he will have huge FIDs for E&P in the Gulf of America as well.

Alaska has cost implications, but I know there is a lot of oil to be drilled, but only in the winter.

This will force China to buy finished product at an upgraded price.

These are interesting times. Another dictatorship about to crumble in Iran - that could be huge.

Global inexpensive energy ought to be an elixir for a lot of growth globally.

Make oil not violence!
