Btw, was pointed out to me that Russia also treats silver as strategic, doesn’t have a lot of it in so far as mining goes, and enjoys a trade surplus with China, selling oil for CNY, and therefore everything China sports, including strategic, reserve-friendly, silver.

No, China does not sell but buys gold from Russia. Riddle me that, easy peasy
