This is also a message to the next Fed chair. If you don't comply with Trump's whims, then you better be sure that all your mortgages are absolutely flawless, all your taxes are paid on time, and everything you say under oath is 100% accurate.

Otherwise he will do to you what he tried to do to Letitia James and Jim Comey, namely portray you as a felon and get tens of millions of MAGA cultists to believe it.
