International Lottery & Totalizator Systems Receives Order for U.S. $.9 Million
PR Newswire - February 26, 1998 12:53

CARLSBAD, Calif., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- International Lottery &
Totalizator Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ITSI) received an order valued at
approximately U.S. $.9 million from The South Australia Totalisator Agency
Board (SATAB) for DATAMARK Flipper terminals. The order, which follows the
delivery of 230 DATAMARK Flippers in 1996, will be built and delivered in the
second quarter of 1998.
"We are always gratified when technically sophisticated customers like
SATAB place follow-on orders for our DATAMARK terminals," said ILTS President,
Mark Michalko. "It's testimony to the unsurpassed performance and durability
of ILTS products."
SATAB, which has been an ILTS customer since 1985, operates licensed off-
track betting agencies throughout South Australia and has a network of more
than 700 DATAMARK terminals. The newly ordered DATAMARK Flippers will be
deployed to expand the existing off-track wagering network, and replace older
DATAMARK terminals, which have been in service for more than twelve years.
International Lottery & Totalizator Systems, Inc. provides computerized
wagering systems, equipment and services to lottery and racing organizations
worldwide.
