My wife & I are considering getting our land-line phone reinstalled as we are concerned that our cell phones could be at risk for outages .
There was that huge Verizon outage just last week with unexplained causes.
Possible causes for outages include sunspot activity as well as an EMP strike or other terrorist activity.
