Odds and ends today. The new Agatha Christie series on Netflix "Seven Dials" dragged a bit in the first episode, but it looks interesting enough to invest another 2 hours in it to see how it turns out.

The new PBS offering "Bookish" was very quirky but also worth more time to figure out where it's going.

A couple of good movie rewatches this week: my high school students wanted to watch the original Sister Act for their semester end fun activity. It was a good reminder what a genuine comedy is all about. We also watched half of the sequel, which was predictably mediocre and not funny. Hitting comedy gold is a very random process.

Also watched The King's Speech again (on Roku channel) last night for the first time since it came out probably. A good reminder of what great acting and writing can do for a story.
