Are you implying that Lip-Bu is going to change his stripes after joining Intel?

My point was that you have no way of knowing that Lip Bu always does what he says he will do at Intel because he's only been in charge for ..... a year?

He knew enough to understand that Intel has a great foundation that needed a
major overhaul. And he's the just the right man at the right time.

What? It has a great foundation but needs to change quite a bit....like, a lot? What in the world does that mean?

"He's the right man at the right time?" What are you, some multi-level marketing dude?

Intel has a lousy situation as AMD uses TSMC and the two of them are taking processor market share from Intel, and foundry is a lousy business for almost everyone other than TSMC. Intel is losing market share, and Intel does not get the benefit of using TSMC as a foundry and therefore not needing to spend the massive Cap Ex required to build your own fab. That position......stinks!

Lip-Bu can say whatever he wants, but he can't change that lousy position. He can't make Intel take processor market share away from AMD/TSMC while making profits. And Intel needs to spend like crazy to build fabs which may not even gain share or make much money.

That company position stinks!

How is Lip Bu going to make Intel retake processor market share from AMD/TSMC? How?

How is Lip Bu going to make Intel foundry strong and profitable and wanna spend spend spend spend more and more Cap Ex dollars every year? Hmmmm?
