It depends upon the language of the option agreement. Usually option agreements are specific as to quantity, date and price. In most cases it would require a second negotiation of the contract to change the terms but anything is possible.

With regard to CKFR and where have the players gone -- we sold some shares around $27 1/4 when the weakness broke trend lines and are currently reacquiring same. Not many shares were involved and as such our position in the security has not changed.

My discomfort with the security is the wide range of DCFs that are floating around. It would be nice to see a few quarters of numbers where associations can be made to something more than has been presented in the past.

I was faced with this same problem in the CLEC arena about two years ago. We, like others, then began to track information such as access lines, buildings connected, installed switches and the like and were able to quantify thus differentiate the players. The result was large investments in BFPT, ICIX and TCGI. Today our portfolio is heavily invested in COLTY, METNF and ENGSY. Same strategy may play out for CKFR.

If anyone has a reliable DCF please contact me. Until then go CKFR.
