We just went thru one one coldest stretches in my time up here, started before turkey day, went into the hole and stayed there. 60 below stuff in the low valleys.The severe cold was universal, all of AK and The Yukon.

A 7 wk stretch like we had is pretty long and rare.Like everywhere we oscillate about norms, sometimes a lot.

I am no cheechako.

Warmed up a few days ago. Looks like a bit more then back to seasonal, which is about 0/-10 right now.
