It's not unusual for a Motion To Bifurcate to be filed to submit equitable rights and remedies to trial by the Court (i.e., the judge), and only questions of fact on issues of law to trial by jury. Is that the basis of ARM's motion?

At your link, it seems that at Qualcomm's request, Judge Noreika is holding a status conference with the parties tomorrow, at 10:00 am ET. What comes of that, in light of the Motion To Consolidate and Motion To Bifurcate being pending, could be interesting.
