That makes sense and also good to hear that the judge is taking command.

With ADAS < level 3 (ie hands-off highway with attentive driver; adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and lane keeping assist) it's Mobileye with whom Qualcomm is competing against at the big OEMs.

I was most disappointed to recently learn Mobileye was behind the early Honda/GM implementations but given all the cameras driving SuperCruise I should have figured that out earlier. Qualcomm was suppose to be running the 2nd generation of SuperCruise but the duration of that has to now be in question given GM just signed up again with Mobileye.

It is these two plus Nvidia heading towards being competitive at all levels of ADAS and it will be the OEMs who prosper getting technology on the cheap due to it being well supplied. That's another scenario Qualcomm tends to encounter due to not being as quick as necessary off the draw.

It is all very frustrating and certainly not clear whatsoever as to who's doing what and where.

Hopefully, AI will be able to clear up such convolution in the future.
