"maintain" - a diplomatic way of saying: "get rid of that dog" P.S. it shouldn't take an attorney more than 20 minutes to fugure out if the inventory "shortfall" (I am presuming theft) is covered by insurance. the fact that they have not made an announcement as of yet does not bode well IMO.
