Not sure how many people know this, but modern pumps have gas lines that allow them to extend to the opposite side of most cars, so it doesn't really matter which side of the pump you pull up to. I see long lines at Costco for the pumps accessing the left side of a car, but I pull up to the other side, stretch the line over the back/rear of my car, and start pumping away. DWB
