I said when DOGE was running rough shod over the beauracracy that the only way this ends is in the streets. Trump needs to establish total control and dominance or he fails. And he doesn't care if others get damaged or killed. In fact, he needs it to instill fear. He has said in at least one interview that he rules by fear. People like that don't yield quietly.
