The CY IR person is going by the name: DMcCranie

Some of the information he talked about dealt with what happened at the Fabs. This was in response to someone who was theorizing about the Fab situation. He specifically addressed the delays with migrating to new processes. (this was the factual stuff...at least it came off as believable.)

Additionally, he characterized the Board as being very active in strategically positioning the co. towards profitability. He described the product mix history and the impact that standard memory
(SRAM and PROM) had on profits in relationship to the other products. Their goal being to move to a 20% - 25% sram product from a 75% SRAM product line. In Q4, 1997, the standard memory business
was approximately 45%. He also said that every company
that had SRAMs as a significant share of their revenue lost money some time during 1996 and 1997....IDTI, ISSI, ALSC, Samsung, Paradigm, ....EXCEPT Cypress

He reiterated what was mentioned on another post about their confidence in the company being able to produce sequential quarterly growth, and thus return to profitability this year.
