I never heard of her. It looks like her following soared when she shifted to Newsom "issues."

The state has been circling the drain ever since public employee unions were allowed to strike. They hold the politicians hostage for pay and benefit packages that are bankrupting the cities and state. If the pols try to fix it, they are run out of town and a new puppet comes in to replace them. To Newsom's credit, he slick talks the unions then vetoes many of the tax increases. He's against the wealth tax along with SJ Mayor Matt Mehan who I hope runs for governor.

"WE" invented the silicon chips, fiber optics to connect data centers and the manufacturing technology that makes AI possible yet most of the manufacturing left the state back in the 1990s as who wants to pay a sales tax (close to 10% in Silicon Valley) plus annual property taxes on plants that cost over $1B to build back then and maybe $5B to $10B now after they are filled with equipment?

Now they think a "temporary" wealth tax on billionaires will fix our problems... mainly raise money to keep hospital workers employed that will lose jobs after Trump's BBB cut payments. Our county ALREADY raised taxes another 0.625% starting April 1 to fill in SOME of that hole, but the state will do what it can too, all while serving illegal aliens in the hope they stay so CA maintains the extra House votes..
