How is this surprising when every car manufacturer outside of Tesla is having to staff up after they have failed at building EVs? Now, Chevy & Ford and others will come in and spend massive amounts of money to learn what Musk taught these people.

This is how it works.

It is loss for Tesla, but fortunately, Musk is the mind behind the operation.
