Kathleen, What the hey. After Ronnie Babe fired all the air traffic controllers, the new guys don't know what day it is anyway. -g-
I did see some airline mention this problem and that they were way behind a fix on it. And, yes, I hope by 2000, sanity has returned to stock prices and folks figure out the cost of the fix will mean either higher fares, which will lead to fewer flyers, or directly lower profits at the trunks. As usual, the analysts were way behind on this one. They see the seats filled on jets and assume it will stay that way forever. -g- Even one of my TA buddies, a few weeks back, said that airlines were his favorite group. Mine, too, at the time, though it was for puts. I have since sold my flying ditchdigger puts and expect a quick bounce, then I'll reenter. Sometimes I get overly cute on these and think that the longer term player sees that they have peaked or are very near peak prices. MB |
