Watch how they handle Trump's attack on the 2nd amendment.
I already know how they are handling it. It's the same way they are handling pretty much every single other moment of abject hypocrisy on the part of Trump.

Might makes right.

They won an election; therefore they can do whatever they want, believe in whatever they want, and move the goalposts whenever they want.

The power of ideas means nothing. Words have no meaning. They don't have to be ideologically consistent, because Trump is the only agency with any legitimacy.

When Trump is gone, they will be completely powerless, and that's when the MAGA cultists will face a true reckoning. They won't have any ideas left, and they won't have Dear Leader to give them cover for their cognitive dissonance. They may continue voting for the JD Vances and the Cuck Johnsons and the Ted Cruzes and the Ron DeathSantises, but I really doubt they'll have any authority in government anymore.

And that's when they realize that they just killed the 2nd amendment in 2026.
