MAGA believes America was great in the 1950s–60s when we had strong unions, a rising middle class and cheap housing for white families.

MAGA is not concerned in the least that the prosperity leaned heavily on exclusion — segregation, redlining, limited rights for women, Indigenous peoples, and minorities.
