Lambert apparently missed the conf call, now commenting after the fact. Plainly, the emphasis is on the future. Autonomy. Self-driving taxis. I cannot imagine how anyone listened to that call and missed this. OMG. They're talking about building chip fabs in the coming years, millions of wafers annually, cranking out vast numbers of chips for Robotaxis and Humanoid robots. If you came away from that call without seeing a 50% ground-up re-invention, you were not listening. This is a new company. Quoting Andy Grove's famous comment, "Only the paranoid survive".
