the group included phillips, nokia, ericy, mot, and one other. it has been 20 years since I thought about it. going royalty in Korea when I first went there was 19% IF they would approve your phone at all. since none of the korean companies could figure out how to get certified, they had about zero market share. so even if they passed certs, then they paid 19%.

so along comes Q, 5%, we help you, we have a formal lab and will work with you until you get certified, guaranteed. the Koreans JUMPED at teh deal..
