Out of the places you mentioned, I’ve been to Thailand and Chile - and, less than a week ago, came back from Costa Rica. Edit - I’ve been to Venezuela and a couple of times to Argentina. While at it, spent a few days in Uruguay as well.

It’s not a matter of conspiracies, aj - it’s a matter of minimizing their possibility. Computer voting is indeed a leap of faith. Any regular person can see that they, personally, have no way of knowing that the elections they vote in are honest and fair.

So, why not make them simple and transparent? Why?

If France can do it, so can we.
