As I understand it, most Canadians want to go with the Griffin I can't image Canada is going to want to go with the F-35's which allows total control by Trump! `` In fact the new Europe is separating itself from the US militarily by total replacement in certain shared intelligence with US, and replacing stuff they used to buy from the US with EU and NATO stuff.In fact they put in law it has to be 65% their stuff. So Canada is not going to go with the F-35 because of that new ideology, IMO. The new "Shadow" NATO i.e. NATO minus the US is developing a strong new military to oppose Trump, and break all ties, it is led by Poland, France and Germany. Their thinking is we need to defend ourselves because Trump might not e.g. nuclear! And why they went with Frances nukes and not the UK that is tied to the US. They also just got rid of digital US stuff, and replaced it with their stuff, and they are coordinating the nuclear expansion with France, but not the UK because France is free of US involvement. Poland and France look ready to share the nuclear umbrella. Poland now has the biggest army in Europe spending 5% of their GDP, but they are also the most prosperous.
