| | | I met with the owner of the Legacy Portfolio today, he had no idea where his portfolio stood, so I read him in. He was pleased.
We both agreed that since he isn't drawing any income, and doesn't need to, that I should shoot for more growth.
Having said that, I plan on trimming or selling a good number of CEF's tomorrow. I will be adding to a few other CEF's which I plan to keep for now.
Of the CEF's being sold tomorrow, a few are showing low single digit losses, and the others being sold are showing low single digit gains.
When you take into consideration the distributions that have been received and reinvested, none of the CEF;s being sold tomorrow will show a capital loss, they just won't have a lot of gains.
If the income was needed, I'd be adding to CEF's, not selling them. |
