Why did Trump just publicly smear Gen. Flynn, Alex Jones & Tucker et al ?
So, why did Trump release the bizarre video to his Truth Social account last night, smearing long-time MAGA supporters and Trump loyalists like Gen. Michael Flynn, Alex Jones, and Tucker Carlson, as well as other O.G. MAGA social media influencers?
Of note, Trump has invited Tucker Carlson at least twice to key White House events in just the last month or so. And no one amongst the O.G. MAGA influencer crowd has been more outspoken on the Israel issue, and against the wars in Ukraine, and the Middle East than Tucker.
So, why the attack upon Tucker, and such a large swatch of his own political base?
And why now?
Here's why...
He's pre-emptively silencing his critics for what's about to come:
Trump urged Iran earlier this week on Wednesday to come to the table and make a deal on nuclear weapons, warning that any future U.S. attack would be "far worse" than his prior June 2025 bombing campaign against three nuclear sites, while backing the threat by highlighting the destructive capabilities of the "naval armada" that he recently deployed to the Middle East...
U.S. President Donald Trump is weighing options against Iran that include targeted strikes on security forces and leaders to inspire protesters, multiple sources said, even as Israeli and Arab officials said air power alone would not topple the clerical rulers.
Two U.S. sources familiar with the discussions said Trump wanted to create conditions for "regime change" after a crackdown crushed a nationwide protest movement earlier this month, killing thousands of people.
To do so, he was looking at options to hit commanders and institutions ?Washington holds responsible for the violence, to give protesters the confidence that they could overrun government and security buildings, they said. Trump has not yet made a final decision on a course of action including whether to take the military path, one of the sources and a U.S. official said.
The second ?U.S. source said the options being discussed by Trump's aides also included a much larger strike intended to have lasting impact, possibly against the ballistic missiles that can reach U.S. allies in the Middle East or its nuclear enrichment programs. Iran has been unwilling to negotiate restrictions on the missiles, which it sees as its only deterrence against Israel, the first source said.
The arrival of a U.S. aircraft carrier and supporting warships ?in the Middle East this week has expanded Trump's capabilities to potentially take military action, after he repeatedly threatened intervention over Iran's crackdown.
Reuters spoke to more than a dozen people for this account of the high-stakes deliberations over Washington's next moves regarding Iran. Four Arab officials, three Western diplomats and a senior Western source whose governments were briefed on the discussions said they were concerned that instead of bringing people onto the streets, U.S. strikes could weaken a movement already in shock after the bloodiest repression by authorities since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Now, before going any further, I want to point out something very, very crucial here, at least for critical thinkers...
Never forget this fact:
Israel and Netanyahu have continually pushed the idea to Trump that Iran was behind his domestic assassination attempts, and that they (Israel) had obtained intelligence that Iran was planning on using sleeper cells within the U.S. to assassinate him:
Sadly, Trump walked right into that trap by making these public pronouncements last year...
For those who are still wondering why Trump would continue to pursue this path towards political suicide, especially with a second attack upon Iran after already proclaiming to the world that his "perfect strike" upon Iran's nuclear sites last year had "completely obliterated" their nuclear program; Israel's constant pushing of the Iran assassination threat is your answer.
That said...
Given Israel's history of political assassinations and achieving its end goals "by any means necessary," especially in regard to what it deems an "existential threat" to the State of Israel, those public pronouncements by Trump may, God forbid, go down in history as among the stupidest utterances ever made by a political leader in modern history.
Just sayin'
It's time to wake up MAGA America, because the future of America as we know it is now at stake.
What do we place first: God and country, or a cult of personality?
