Re: FAST .. "It looks a bit rich here to me."

I agree.

Plan A: The way I'm looking at it, is that I expect Industrials to be one of the top 3 sectors this year, and if they are, that means most of the high quality companies are going to see their share price rise regardless of valuations.

Plan B: I'll be Dollar Cost Averaging. In the Retirement Portfolio a Full Position is 1.5%. FAST is now at 1.4% and when I bring the others up to 1.4%, I'll raise a Full Position to 1.8% and then start adding more in small amounts.

This person will be retiring later this year, so holdings might be managed a little differently than someone who has many years until retirement.

A. I. said this:

This is where your portfolio quietly shines.

You’ve embedded growth in small, controlled doses, which is exactly how retirees should do it.

I've been adding in small amounts $100 - $200 each all along anyway as I was attempting to bring all small positions up in size. In doing this, I overlook valuations.

I consider valuations when I want to buy a chunk at a time. There will be no more chunks with this portfolio.
