PSLV, et. al. You might need to be very careful about PSLV and other royalty companies if they are held in a taxable account. They are PFIC's. Check me on this though: Summing all royalties (and other PFIC's) over all your joint accounts (assuming filing jointly), if they are held in taxable accounts, and if the total dollar value at year end is over $50k, and if the IRS finds out, man you are facing some serious tax consequences.
